Katie is a 12 year old child who’s lived under strict rule of her heavily Christian parents, Gabriel and Liz Woods her entire life. She’s lived in Phoenix, Arizona for her entire life to the point that father Gregor is her guidance counselor. But no matter how much they tried, Katie was a major kleptomaniac, stealing all that she finds shiny.It got so bad she had to be nicknamed ‘The Crow’. Unfortunately, the moment her parents caught wind of such a name, she was banned from seeing other kids outside of church and was homeschooled. This, however, didn’t stop her from stealing all that shimmered and shined. It was at that point where her parents assumed she was taken by ‘dark forces’ (A.K.A. Satan or something.) Her father left to contact father Gregor, leaving Katie with her mother.That’s when Katie spots something in her back yard, a red blur leaving behind something that glows so bright it’s like it’s calling to her. Once her mother’s distracted, she runs outside to grab it, practically already imagining how this’ll be the top of her pile. It’s a golden pendant with a cyan diamond charm in the middle. The moment she touches it, it only glows brighter, stirring something inside her she can’t quite understand.Days pass and it only gets worse. It’s almost like she hungers to take what’s not hers, now picking up things that only make the pendant glow. This shifted from shiny things to stuff that started to not make sense for a 12 year old to want. Like shiny things -> sharp things (pins, knives, etc.)-> false body parts (dentures, false eyes, etc.). It was at this time she was the ‘ankle biter’ child, taking it a bit too seriously as she became fascinated with the human body, biting anyone even remotely close to her mouth. After several trips to Father Gregor to try and ‘fix’ her, all they could get from her was ‘it whispers things to me when no one’s around.’ Her parents were hopeless and didn’t know what to do.One night, Gabriel left in a rage, leaving Katie alone with Liz once more. This time, her mother wasn’t as comfortable being around her but she couldn’t tell why. Not long later, Liz called Gabriel in a panic, saying Katie was possessed or something before a shrill scream was heard and the clatter of her phone falling before the line went dead. Gabriel quickly headed back to the house, much too late. By the time he got there, he found the bloody corpse that was his wife. Kneeling above her, taking her heart, was Katie with an insane kind of hunger in her eyes. The moment she noticed him, she held on to the heart and booked it for the door. Fully convinced she was possessed and passed saving, Gabriel got back into his car, driving it with intent to kill ‘for Christ's sake’ he’d say. Before she could get any farther, she turned to see the impending headlights as they reached her.Hours later, she woke with a gasp, finding herself on a metal table of the obituary, surrounded by the cloaked people. The cult, seeing her potential, teaches her a few basics in what she discovered and how to use and make basic weaponry.Family

Gabriel and Liz Woods are her parents and VERY devoted Christians. Katie, fortunately, was an only child which played into why she turned into a Klepto.Personality

Before her death, as a kid, she was always kind in ways that showed how sheltered she was. She was always trying to make friends but it didn’t matter who it was unless they were from the church, which of course she hated. Her Kleptomania started early, only growing worse and worse the more she was neglected and the more the pendant affected her. She quickly grew more vicious as time went on. Even before her death, she was a pathological liar in order to get her way, even going as far as forcing tears and playing tricks and pranks, though sometimes she didn’t know what was too far. After her death, however, she found the guidance of the cult more fit for her than Gregors. With the power of flight, granted by Eyes I think, she’s more capable of surveillance and stealing what they need. She still has that sheltered kid vibe but on a more threatening level. She adores cats and crows, somehow feeling connected to them. On the other hand, she wouldn’t hesitate to merk a dog if it looked at her wrong. Like any other kid, she’s obsessed with candy. The cultists find that it keeps her busy from taking things, especially when she takes things that are theirs.Talents
